Eric “E-New” Newman is an A&R that is blazing new trails on the Southern Hip-Hop Music scene. Working as the A&R/ Publishing Manager of the HiTz Committee Entertainment label at Jive Records since the Spring of 09’, he immediately made an impact his first month there. He signed over a local Baton Rogue artist named Derty, to a single deal that turned out a Summer Club Banger “Oh Uh” in Louisiana that year. The song also made an impact on the East Coast urban markets when it premiered as the New Joint of the Day on BET’s 106 & Park as well. Soon after E-New broke another national hit this winter, signing the Party Boyz “Flex” single from Dallas Texas. Since their signing last November, their single has climbed to #38 on the Billboard HOT R&B/ Hip-Hop songs chart and #26 on the Mainstream R&B/ Hip-Hop chart as of February 19, 2010. The music video has also garnered much success as it is now entered into the BET 106 & Park Top 10 countdown.

Eric’s three years of experience working alongside his long-time friend and boss, Mickey “MeMpHiTz” Wright, is also a key factor in his ability to find the next big hit in today’s Urban Music landscape.
